Amanda qualified from Kings College in 1986. She then worked for the Community Dental Service in Camberwell for 2 years, working with adults with special needs. She then returned to Hertfordshire and began working in general practice.

After taking a year off to travel in 2006, Amanda moved to Cheshire to be near to her greatest love, Liverpool Football Club.
Since the pandemic, Amanda has been sharing her time between her home in Cheshire and her parents’ home in Oxfordshire.
